Perum Jamkrindo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bank Jatim, Sarana Multigriya Finansial, and Realestate Indonesia to collaborate on a business synergy program aimed at low-income communities. Through this agreement, Perum Jamkrindo contributes to efforts in providing affordable housing for low-income households in Indonesia.

The MoU was signed by Perum Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, Acting President Director of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk, Ferdian Timur Satyagraha, President Director of PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero), Ananta Wiyogo, Chairman of Realestate Indonesia (REI), Soelaeman Soemawinata, and Secretary-General of REI, Paulus Totok Lusida. The signing took place at Perum Jamkrindo's headquarters on Monday, August 12, 2019.

Randi Anto explained that through this agreement, all parties aim to contribute to the provision of affordable housing for low-income communities. In this business model, Perum Jamkrindo will provide guarantees for housing loans (KPR) offered to Bank Jatim's customers, with homes supplied by developers under Realestate Indonesia (REI).

"The government has made efforts to reduce the gap between housing supply and demand through the One Million Houses Program. As a state-owned enterprise and business association, we can contribute in our own way. Through this agreement, we seek to contribute according to our respective expertise and responsibilities," said Randi Anto.

In addition to expanding its business portfolio, Perum Jamkrindo’s guarantee for Bank Jatim's housing loans also enhances risk management practices within the company. This business model increases opportunities for low-income communities to access homeownership.

In terms of business performance, Perum Jamkrindo recorded positive growth in the first half of 2019. The company achieved a guarantee volume of IDR 102.88 trillion, marking an 18% increase from the previous year’s IDR 86.3 trillion. This strong performance also led to a significant increase in pre-tax profit (EBT), reaching IDR 372.03 billion, a remarkable 82.28% growth from the previous year’s IDR 204.1 billion.

As of June 2019, Perum Jamkrindo's total assets stood at IDR 17.40 trillion, reflecting a 7.1% increase compared to December 31, 2018. Meanwhile, equity reached IDR 11.67 trillion, up 3.30% from December 31, 2018.
