PT Jamkrindo’s Bogor Service Unit handed over a donation of 166 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) suits to the COVID-19 Handling Task Force at the PMI Hospital in Bogor on Thursday, April 23, 2020.
The donation was presented by the Head of the Bogor Service Unit, Dwi Suwandono, to the COVID-19 Task Force at PMI Hospital in Bogor. "We hope this assistance will help, and it is time for us to work together in tackling the COVID-19 outbreak in Bogor," said Dwi Suwandono.
This donation is part of the company's latest initiative to raise funds (crowdfunding) in line with its 50th Anniversary celebration. PT Jamkrindo's President Director, Randi Anto, explained that internally, Jamkrindo has taken several steps to prevent the spread and break the chain of transmission of the coronavirus, such as implementing split teams, work from home (WFH), promoting a healthy lifestyle, disinfecting the workplace, distributing masks to the community, and other activities.
"Aside from these activities, we also want to raise funds that can be used to help address the various impacts caused by the spread of the coronavirus," Randi Anto stated in a press release on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
PT Jamkrindo continues to assist micro, small, medium enterprises, and cooperatives in adding value during the decline in revenues due to the impact of the coronavirus. The guarantee company has also raised social funds (crowdfunding) to support efforts in addressing the effects of the virus's spread.

Let’s express our concern for others through fundraising to anticipate the impact of the coronavirus spread," said Randi Anto. "The activities we carry out are a manifestation of our commitment to participate in efforts to prevent the spread of the coronavirus."
Additionally, to ensure safety and comfort, Jamkrindo routinely encourages residents of Bogor, especially, to pay attention to their health and the health of their families, wash hands frequently, wear masks if experiencing flu or cough symptoms, and seek medical consultation for further examination, as advised by Dwi Suwandono.
