The COVID-19 pandemic has presented immense challenges for businesses both globally and nationally. During this time, CEOs are tested on their ability to lead their companies through these difficult economic circumstances, navigating challenges to ensure survival and growth.
Iconomics Research, in collaboration with RRI, awarded CEOs who were recognized for successfully guiding their companies to survive amidst the pandemic, through the Best CEO – Employees’ Choice Awards 2020.
On this occasion, Randi Anto, the CEO of Jamkrindo, received the prestigious title of The Best CEO 2020 in the Guarantee and Insurance category. The award ceremony was held virtually on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
In a separate statement, Randi Anto expressed his gratitude for the recognition. He emphasized that this achievement was made possible by the support of all Jamkrindo employees. Acknowledging the uncertainties caused by the pandemic, he recognized that the challenges ahead are even greater, particularly with Jamkrindo's involvement in the National Economic Recovery Program (PEN). He hopes that the solidarity of Jamkrindo's employees will be a key strength in overcoming future challenges.
"To fulfill this significant role, extraordinary efforts from all Jamkrindo employees are necessary. Solidarity among the company's elements is crucial in achieving our common goals," he stated.
The Best CEO 2020 award was based on a comprehensive evaluation of leadership aspects. Iconomics conducted a study to measure the professional efforts of CEOs in elevating their companies' standing, based on their employees' appreciation of their leadership in both normal and challenging times, like those caused by the ongoing pandemic. The popularity and leadership support from all employees were reflected in the Best CEO 2020 assessment.
The evaluation involved a survey of industry staff, with a total of nearly 10,000 respondents in early June 2020. More than 200 CEOs participated in the survey. The assessment of company leaders was based on several parameters: Popularity, Competency, Personality, and Crisis Leadership.
