PT Jamkrindo has established a strategic partnership with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Selatan (BPD Kalsel) through the signing of a Loan Guarantee Agreement for the National Economic Recovery (PEN) Program. The virtual signing ceremony, held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, was attended by Bank Kalsel’s President Director, Agus Syabarrudin, and Jamkrindo’s Director of Guarantee Business, Amin Mas’udi.
In a separate statement, Jamkrindo President Director, Randi Anto, emphasized that this collaboration is part of the company’s commitment to supporting government initiatives in mitigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting the government’s efforts to protect, sustain, and enhance the economic capacity of businesses, particularly MSMEs," said Randi.
According to Jamkrindo’s Director of Guarantee Business, Amin Mas’udi, the company has guaranteed Rp 2.3 trillion in working capital loans, covering 4,588 MSMEs under the PEN program.
He expressed optimism that this partnership will encourage banks to increase working capital loan distribution to MSMEs.
"With our extensive network of 9 regional offices, 56 branch offices, and 19 service units, we are fully prepared to support the KMK PEN program," Amin stated.
Beyond establishing partnerships with banks, Jamkrindo actively conducts outreach and educational programs on working capital loan guarantees under the PEN scheme.
The company has participated in various webinars focused on MSME development and has even hosted its own webinar titled "Working Capital Loan Guarantees to Save MSMEs."
"Raising awareness is crucial to achieving the loan disbursement targets for KMK PEN. As a credit guarantor, we do not just wait for applications—we take proactive steps, engaging directly with stakeholders, including government agencies and banking institutions," Amin added.
The KMK MSME guarantee scheme is governed by Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 71/2020, which designates Jamkrindo and Askrindo as the executors of the PEN guarantee program, while ensuring fiscal sustainability and efficient state budget utilization.
Eligibility Criteria for Banks Must have a good reputation, Classified as "Healthy" with Composite Ratings of 1 or 2 (as per OJK’s assessment), Must have an adequate information system for government guarantee implementation.
Eligibility Criteria for MSME Borrowers Must be a registered business (individual, cooperative, or corporate entity), Must have been impacted by COVID-19, Must not be listed in the National Blacklist (DHN), Must hold valid business permits and legal documents, Maximum loan ceiling of Rp 10 billion per debtor, including additional credit facilities, Loans must be for working capital purposes, Maximum loan tenor of 3 years, Guarantee certificates must be issued by November 30, 2021, with coverage until loan maturity.
Through this strategic collaboration with Bank Kalsel, Jamkrindo reaffirms its commitment to supporting MSMEs, strengthening financial inclusion, and accelerating national economic recovery.
