PT Jamkrindo has once again achieved a prestigious milestone as the only national guarantee company, receiving recognition as the Best Company in the Corporate Communication category at the BUMN Branding and Marketing Award 2020.
The award was received by Jamkrindo's representative at The Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, on Thursday, November 5, 2020. Additionally, PT Jamkrindo Syariah, a subsidiary of Jamkrindo, was honored as the Best Company in the Community Development category.
The 8th BUMN Branding and Marketing Award 2020, organized by BUMN Track with the support of Arrbey Consulting, aims to recognize state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and their subsidiaries that excel in branding and marketing while competing in the global market. This year’s theme, “Optimizing Omni-Channel on Branding and Marketing,” emphasized the integration of various communication channels to enhance business success.
A total of 114 state-owned enterprises and their subsidiaries participated in the competition, with only 59 companies advancing to the final selection round, which included interviews and presentations before a panel of judges.
CEO of BUMN Track, SH Sutarto, highlighted how the COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped business strategies, making omni-channel integration essential for branding and marketing.
“The pandemic has devastated economies worldwide, creating an urgent need to redesign business strategies. Omni-channel is a key solution, particularly in branding and marketing. For state-owned enterprises, integrating offline and online channels is no longer optional—it is a necessity. This approach not only facilitates communication and transactions but also ensures customer satisfaction and business success,” explained SH Sutarto.
Chairman of the judging panel, Sugiharto, who served as Indonesia’s Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (2004-2007), emphasized the relevance of omni-channel strategies in today’s business environment.
“Omni-channel strategies have a direct impact on branding and marketing success, influencing revenue growth, corporate health, and profitability. In an era defined by VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity), BUMN and their subsidiaries must not only navigate crises but also innovate and adapt to global market dynamics,” stated Sugiharto.
He also pointed out that modern corporate strategies align with the “People, Profit, Planet” paradigm, ensuring sustainable and competitive growth in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
