Through Decree No. SK-347/MBU/10/2020 and BPUI/IFG General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) Decree No. 048/SK-DIR/CORP/BPUI/X/2020 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the President Director of PT Jamkrindo, the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), as the Series A shareholder, and the General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (BPUI), as the Series B shareholder, appointed Putrama Wahju Setyawan as the new President Director of PT Jamkrindo, replacing Randi Anto. The leadership transition took place in Jakarta on Monday, October 26, 2020.
During the handover ceremony at the Jamkrindo Building in Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Thursday, November 19, 2020, Putrama Wahju Setyawan emphasized his commitment, alongside the entire Jamkrindo team, to uphold the strong foundation laid by Randi Anto.
“On behalf of the Jamkrindo team, I extend my highest appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Randi Anto, who has dedicated three years as President Director of Jamkrindo, establishing a solid foundation for the company to work more effectively, in line with the expectations of shareholders and stakeholders. We are committed to maintaining and building upon this foundation,” said Putrama Wahju Setyawan.
He acknowledged the challenges that Jamkrindo will face in the future, particularly amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the rapidly evolving landscape of digital disruption.
"As conveyed by our Chief Commissioner, the people of Jamkrindo are the company’s fundamental asset, especially since we are in the service industry. Therefore, we must always be ready to embrace change and challenges while focusing on competence and risk culture as key elements," he added.
Putrama also expressed his hope for continued support from former President Director Randi Anto to ensure the sustainability of the foundation that has been built. He pledged to preserve and enhance the achievements made under Randi Anto’s leadership.
“We also seek guidance from the Board of Commissioners in carrying out our responsibilities at PT Jamkrindo. Additionally, we ask for support from all Jamkrindo employees—let’s work together and complement each other. With my background in banking, I hope to share insights, particularly in risk management and achieving sustainable and high-performing growth, so that we can all prosper together,” Putrama said.
The newly appointed President Director also stated that he and his team are ready to drive human capital transformation in response to the digital era. He emphasized that digital adaptation is no longer optional but a necessity for survival in today’s industry, including the financial guarantee sector where PT Jamkrindo operates.
“If we do not adapt to this digital era, we will be left behind. Our aspirations to grow Jamkrindo in the financial industry will be jeopardized. Therefore, once again, we express our deepest appreciation to Mr. Randi Anto for his contributions over the past three years. We also sincerely hope that Mr. Randi will continue to mentor us, as there will be many things we would like to consult with him,” said Putrama Wahju Setyawan.
With a renewed vision and strong leadership, Jamkrindo is set to navigate future challenges and reinforce its role as a key player in Indonesia’s financial sector.
