Plastic waste has become a global issue that is receiving serious attention from many countries today. As a material that takes a long time to decompose, plastic products will continue to exist and accumulate in the world for a long time.

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, which will fall on July 1, 2020, Perum Jamkrindo carried out one of the activities in its Social Care Movement and Jamkrindo Cares for Education program in Yogyakarta.

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, which will take place on July 1, 2020, Jamkrindo continued its empowerment efforts at the Ciletuh Geopark in Sukabumi, West Java. This was marked by the implementation of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving officials from the Sukabumi Regency Government and the local community.

As a form of concern for the flood victims in the Jabodetabek area, Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo) provided aid in the form of basic necessities and food in Petamburan, Jakarta, and also distributed aid at the flood post in Lebak, Banten.

The community appreciates the efforts of Perum Jamkrindo in the anti-plastic waste campaign at Ciletuh Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark in Sukabumi, West Java. Since the program was initiated in October 2019, plastic waste has significantly decreased, especially at Palangpang Beach.

The Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) of Perum Jamkrindo, in collaboration with the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas), launched the Mustahik Entrepreneurial Economy program by providing assistance in the form of Healthy Snack Carts, Working Capital, and Support for SMEs in the Jabodetabek area.
